Explanation:

the numbers of coins in box y = x + 60

the value in cent of $ in box A is 50*x

and the value in cent of $ in box B is 20*y

So 50*x = 20*y +450

y = 60 + x

Solving for x 50x = 20*(60+x) +450 50x = 1200 + 20x +450

30x = 1650 x = 55

y = 60 +55 =115
