The costs are never exactly the same. But they are EXACT in 1.86 months. The cost being 102.14.

Explanation:

Try setting up an equation for both of them, setting them equal and then solving.

First Gym Cost = 156 + 29x Where x is the number of months

Second Gym Cost = 55x

156+29x=55x

84x=156

x=156/84
