ANSWER:

The percentage of students attended the college is 80%.

SOLUTION:

Given, there are 35 students in class.

On a certain day 28 students were present.

We need to find what percent of students came to school.

We know that,

Attended students percentage =
$\frac{\text {number of students present}}{\text {total strength of the class}} * 100$

Here, total strength = 35 and number of students present = 28.

Now, Attended students percentage =
$(28)/(35) * 100$

$=(4)/(5) * 100$

= 4 x 20 = 80

Hence, the percentage of students attended the collage is 80%.
