How is growth different from reproduction​

This is a very broad question but looking at a cell a cell growths to become bigger so go into mitosis as that’s one of the interphase it goes through to replicate its self then reproduction is to produce something in this case it’s the cell that will divide and replicate its self and reproduce another cell. Growth and development of living things is essential as it enables the living things to attain maximum size that can enable them to perform their functions and roles whereas, Reproduction is the process by which living things give rise to new individuals of the same kind. All living things reproduce.
