Answer: 0.55m

1. First find Vf
• 4 Sin(10)=0.7
•Vf= 0.7

2. Find time
•9.8=0.7/t
•9.8t=0.7
•t=0.07

3. Find distance
• 4 Cos(10)=d/0.14 < ————- double time
• d=0.55m

Answer:

The ball goes 0.555 meter far away when kicked with a speed of 4 m/s at an angle of 10゚.

Explanation :

From the given statements, we know

Initial Velocity (u) = 4 m/s

Angle at which it is projected (θ) = 10 degree

Let acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8 m/
s^2

Range = ?

Using the formula of Range, and substituting the values

Range=
\frac{\mathrm{u}^(2) \sin 2 \theta}{\mathrm{g}}

=
(4^(2) \sin 2 * 10)/(9.8)

=
(16 * 0.34)/(9.8) = 0.555 m
