Metals:
Conduct electricity
Ductile
Malleable
High melting point
Shiny
Explanation:
Metals are elements in the periodic table that react by losing electron(s) to attain a stable configuration and form cations. Examples of metals include group I, II, and III elements and transition metals.
Metals have similar properties which include;
High melting points since they have strong metallic bonds
Good conductors of heat and electricity due to the presence of delocalized electrons.
Malleable meaning they can be hammered.
Ductile which means they can be drawn into several shapes.
high density since they are heavy
Solid at room temperature with an exception of mercury which is liquid at room temperature.
Lustrous which means they are shiny.
