Given, equation is -10(x – 1) = 10 - 10x.

We need to find how many solutions are there for above equation.

Now,

-10( x – 1 ) = 10 - 10x

-10x – ( -10 ) × 1 = 10 – 10x

-10x + 10 × 1 = 10 – 10x

-10x + 10 = 10 – 10x

10 – 10x – 10 + 10x = 0

(10 – 10) + (-10x + 10x) = 0

(0) + (0) = 0

0 = 0

L.H.S = R.H.S

So, for any value of x the equations becomes true.

Hence, the equation have infinitely many solutions.
