We know
`distance = speed* time`.

We will use the below given equation to find out the time after which the distance between the two cars will be 268 miles.

Let ‘t’ be the time after which the distance between the two car will be 268 miles.

∴ A/Q,
`65t + 67.5t = 268`

`132.5t = 268`

`t = (268)/(132.5)`

`t = 2.02 hour`
