Explanation:

First use the Circle area

which is equal to pi(r)^2

obviously pi equal to

------> pi = 3.14

so using 3.14, you come to the radius

r = 5

Multiplying the radius by it's self

5 * 5 = 25

=25

25 * 3.14 = 78.5

Don't forget to divide that by half because the shape is in a half circle

10 * 4 = 40

using 40

40 + 39.25 = 79.25

Coming to the answer = 79.25 in.

Circle area = pi(r)^2

pi = 3.14

r = 5

5 * 5 = 25

25 * 3.14 = 78.5

Then, divide that in half because its a half circle.

10 * 4 = 40
