the answer would be the 2nd option given: 31 newtons left and 32 newtons right because you go an extra newton to your right, which moves the object

for option #1, if you were to go 5 newtons up and 5 newtons down, you’d end up at your starting point again.

for option #3, going 0 newtons up and 0 newtons down results in no movement at all

for option #4, going 9 newtons left and 9 newtons right would result in, once again, ending on your starting point
