HELP MEEE

What is the interguartile range and the 3 other quartiles of 20, 20, 80, 100, 100, 100 (there is no table or graph or anything)

Answer:

interquatile range is 20

quartile 1 is 20

quartile 2 is 90

quartile 3 is 100

Explanation:

The interquatile range is simply done by separating the numbers into two equal parts(but this method is only for even set of numbers, 6 in your case) so after separating them into two parts

[20,20,80] & [100,100,100] you can find the median(middle value when arranged in order).

so m1 will be 20 and m2 will be 100,

therefore by subtracting m2-m1 you find the interquatile number. 100-20= 80

To find quartiles divide the set into 3 equal parts. for the middle value(q2) you take the average between 80 and 100 which is 90.
