Proofread the following article and correct its four subject-verb disagreements.

Organisers of the very first race reports that all but 500 of the 15,000 places has now sold out, just a month after they was first released to the public. For anyone itching to be the very first winner, there are only days left to get your entry in.

Prices range from £35 to £55. Riders can choose between two challenges:a 104-mile event that covers the most difficult terrain, or a slightly less testing 52-mile event. Starting near the port, both events ends in the picturesque town of Kendal where the official awards ceremonies will occur.

Answer: report -have -were-end

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 3 verbs that do not agree with their subjects in the first paragraph.

1-Organisers of the very first race reports ...Organizers is plural and requires no s in the verb. Therefore the correct is REPORT.

2-...places has now sold out...

Places is plural so the correct form is HAVE

3-...they was first released... In this sentence they is the subject o the passive voice so WERE agrees with THEY.

In the last paragraph the subject events does not agree with ends.

It should be END
