Determine whether AABC should be solved by using the Law of Sines or the Law of Cosines. Then solve the triangle.

A = 35º, b = 13, a = 11

A.) Law of Sines: B = 42.7, C = 102.3º. 318.

B.) Law of Sines; B = 102.3°, C = 42.7°, c = 18.7

C.) Law of Cosines; B = 106.2°, C = 38.8°, c = 18.7

D.) Law of Cosines; B = 38.8°, C = 106.2°, c = 18.7

Answer:

B = 42.7 degrees, C = 102.3 degrees and c = 18.7.

Explanation:

We use the Sine Rule:

a / sin A = b / sin B

11 / sin 35 = 13 / sin B

11 sin B = 13 sin 35

sin B = 13 sin 35 / 11 = 0.677863

B = 42.7 degrees.

So C = 180 - 42.7 - 35

= 102.3 degrees.

c / sin 102.3 = 11 / sin 35

c = 11 sin 102.3 / sin 35

= 18.7.
