Let p = percent decrease

(40 - 25)/25 = p/100

Solve for p.

Answer:

Explanation:

decreased minutes = 40 -25 = 15 minutes

Percentage = 15/40 *100 = 1500/40 = 150/4 = 75/2 = 37.5%
