In all types of chemical reactions, bonds are broken and reassembled to form new products. However, in exothermic, endothermic, and all chemical reactions, it takes energy to break the existing chemical bonds and energy is released when the new bonds form.

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

ATP- adenosine triphosphate

Step-by-step explanation:

Formation of bond normally releases energy in the surrounding but in an anabolic reaction energy is added in order to make complex molecule by combining the simpler molecules.

When energy is added then formation of cleavage between the bonds occur. For the formation of ATP these should be addition of energy.

But when the energy is released then ADP- adenosine diphosphate and pi bonds are formed. Catabolic reactions release energy in the surrounding during the process of breaking a bond.
