OK SO The equation for slope is y2-y1/x2-x1. So we will use 7 as x1 and 8 as x2. Then we will use -8 as y1 and -8 as y2. We will plug this into the formula——> -8-(-8)/8-7= 0. The slope is 0

Answer:

Use the slope equation.

m = (y2 - y1 / x2 - x1)

Explanation:

m = (-8 - (-8) ) / (8 - 7)

m = (0) / (1)

m = 0

The slope between these two points is 0. This makes sense if you graph the two points, as they are right next to each other at the same y-coordinate of (-8). The only thing changing here is the x-coordinate of each point.
