Answer: y=-6x+9

Explanation:

first you set up what u know using the y=mx+b slope formula. -6 is the slope so that goes in place of m in the equation to be y=-6x+b. b is the y intercept and you dont know that so you plug in the coordinates to find that. so you put 3 in place of y in the equation and 1 in place of x. you end up with 3=(-6 x 1)+b and you solve from there to get 3= -6+b and you add 6 to the other side to get 9=b. your final equation should be y=-6+9 hope this helps!!

good luck!!
