The volume of a right cylinder is 155.4 ft. 3 The radius is 3 ft. Determine the height of the cylinder.

Sorry for all of the math questions. I am terrible at math and no matter how many times it gets explained, I never seem to understand completely.

Answer:

The height of cylinder is 5.49 feet

Solution:

Volume of right cylinder v =155.4 feet

r = 3 feet

Height of cylinder we need to find.

Using the volume formulae:

The volume of a right cylinder is
\mathrm{v}=\pi * r^(2) * h

Where,

r is the radius

h is the height.

We know the radius and volume and by rewriting the volume formula, we can find the height of right cylinder

h=(v)/(\pi r^(2))

Now, we just substitute the known values in for their corresponding variables:

h=(155.4)/(3.14 * 3^(2))

h = (155.4)/(28.26)

h = 5.49 feet

hence the height of the cylinder is 5.49 feet
