If two points on line l above have coordinates (0, A) and (2, −3), and the slope of the line is A, then what is the value of A?

Slope of line = A

Slope of line =
(y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2) -x_(1))

Now since the slope of line is A and its has two coordinates (0, A) and (2 , -3), ∴


A = (y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2) -x_(1))


A = (-3 - A)/(2 - 0)


2A = -3 - A


2A + A = -3
