Meyers's theory of sequent occupancy:

  • This theory states that the emergence of a new culture with each generation and societies will replace the landmarks of the old culture or change it to advance the new current culture.
  • The cultural diversity and landscapes of many countries has been evolved in the olden days and more changes were observed in the society.
  • For example, Mexico City was first discovered in 200bc with Teotihuacan's as the first inhabitants of tribes.
  • With time, other tribes such as the Nahuatl-speaking tribes also came and settled in other places.
  • Culturally each tribe left a historical mark which would be discovered by the next generation or by the new tribe.
