Some of the changes and advancements during the Middle Kingdom period
There were
various advancements
that happened during the age of Middle Kingdom.
One of the main advancements is the
surfacing of the Egyptian literature
that addressed about the famine, the culture and the everyday lives of the Egyptians.
The other advancement was in the
field of trade.
The Egyptians
discovered a new sea route
that would connect to Punt without passing through the
Kerma Kingdom
.
An
agricultural advancement
that took place was
irrigation
that helped the crops flourish and give higher yields and this method benefited from the
Nile river floods
