Explanation:

Your shed's perimeter = 4*9 = 36 feet.

The length of one side of the sisters shed = sqrt 114 = 10.68 feet so its perimeter is

4 * 10.68

= 42.71 feet.

Difference is 42.71 - 36 = 6.71 feet.
