➷ Split 84 into two numbers that can be multiplied to give 84

42 x 2 = 84

2 is a prime number so we don't need to simplify it further, however, 42 isn't a prime number.

42 can be split into :

21 x 2 = 21

So far, we have 21 x 2 x 2 = 84

The 21 can be split further:

7 x 3 = 21

Therefore, the answer is 7 x 3 x 2^2
