D = √[ (x2-x1)² + (y2-y1)²]

in our case, let,

y1=-14, x1=-3, x2=4, y2= 10

D = √[ ( 4 - (-3) )² + ( 10 + 14 )²]

D = √[ ( 4 + 3 )² + ( 10 + 14 )²]

D = √[ ( 7 )² + ( 24 )²]

D = √[ 49 + 576]

D = √625

D = 25
