Answer: C:10

Explanation:

Equation of a line passes through (a,b) and (c,d) :

(y-b)=(d-b)/(c-a)(x-a)

Equation of line passes through A(-2,8) and B(4,14) will be :

y-8=(14-8)/(4-(-2))(x-(-2))\\\\\Rightarrow\ y-8= (6)/(6)(x+2)

\Rightarrow\ y-8=x+2\\\\\Rightarrow\ y= x+2+8\\\\\Rightarrow\ y=x+10

For y-intercept , put x= 0 , we get y= 10

So, the y-intercept = 10

Thus , correct option = C:10
