Hi there! For the form ax^2+bx+c, you have to re write the middle term as a sum of two terms whose product is a x c = 2 x -9 = -18, and whose sum is b=7.

2x^2−2x+9x−9. Factor out the greatest common factor from each group which is 2x(x−1)+9(x−1).

Factor the polynomial by factoring out the greatest common factor,

x−1 x (x−1) (2x+9),

Hope this helped! Have a good day!
