Solution:

As per the problem given equation is,

$(\396.32 - \250) = \146.32$

$\Rightarrow 2 * x^(2)-60+10=0$ (//substituting all at left)

$\Rightarrow 2 * x^(2)-50=0$

$\Rightarrow 2 * x^(2)=50$

$\Rightarrow x^(2)=\left((50)/(2)\right)$

$\Rightarrow x^(2)=25$

So the value of x can be 5 and -5.

Hence one value of x can be 5 (proved).
