Answer:

Lynn must score 98 in her second test to make an Average of 93 and get an A.

Solution:

Required average of test score by Lynn’s to make an A = 93

Number of tests for which average is calculated = 2

Score of Lynn in first test = 88

let’s assume the score required by Lynn in second test to make an A = x.

Average of test score =
(Total score of all test)/(number of tests)

93 = ((88 + x ))/(2)

186 = 88 + x

x = 186 – 88 = 98

Hence Lynn must score 98 in her second test to make an Average of 93 and get an A.
