Please help! It's very simple mathematics, but I can't afford to get them wrong!

Write each sentence as an algebraic equation.

Sixteen is twice a number decreased by 9.

Thirteen is five less than two times a number.

Now write a sentence for the equation.
1=-2n+17

Answer:

16=2n-9 13=5-2n one is negative two times a number increased by seventeen ||I believe||
