Answer:

a. The amount of rain in City Upper B during April: Continuous Random Variable.

Since, we can't count the random variable and its value lies between two discrete random variable. For Example: 42.2 ml

b. The number of points scored during a basketball game: Discrete Random Variable.

Since, we can count them.

c. The eye color of people on commercial aircraft flights: Not a Random Variable.

Since, It does not has a numerical random variable. For Example: Blue, brown, etc.

d. The number of fish caught during a fishing tournament: Discrete Random Variable.

Since, we can count them. for Example, 5 fish, 4 fish, etc. we can't written it as 4.5 fish.

e. The number of statistics students now reading a book: Discrete Random Variable.

Since, we can count them. for Example, 5 fish, 4 fish, etc. we can't written it as 4.5 fish.

f. The exact time it takes to evaluate 27 plus 72: Continuous Random Variable.

Since, we can't count time. Some can take time as 1.2 minute, 0.48 second, etc.
