“g/r apples for each maybe. Either this is a devilishly easy question or some kind of weird abstract question.”

Answer:

Each person gets total \left(\frac{g}{r+1}\right) apples

Solution:

Given, Total number of apples bought = g.

Total number of brothers = r.

The apples are divided among r number of brothers and me,

So the apples will be divided among total
(r+1) no of persons.

We can say,
(r+1) number of person will get g apples

We can find out the number of apples each gets by dividing total number of apples by total number of persons.

Therefore, each person will get \left(\frac{g}{r+1}\right) apples
