I don't know if the picture is required, but I will answer my best anyways. The byzantine empire is responsible for safeguarding and teaching the works of great Philosophers such as Plato, who's works went on to inspire great events such as the Renaissance, which in turn made way for great strides in medicine, science, and technology. They also had some of the brightest men in the world, even after the ottomans defeated them, Italians used them to translate texts from ancient pagans and christians, which also gave way to some famous texts. Lastly, they were responsible for the spread of Orthodox Christianity, which has held a prominent position within places such as Russia, and has not only been a great spiritual influence, but a cultural one as well, building great vast churches that add beauty to the surrounding architecture

Answer:

Math, old languages, and architecture.

Step-by-step explanation:

As scholars, hey also translated many texts, allowing us to read them today. Modern math, including algebra, trigonometry, and geometry, originated from the Byzantine Empire. The architecture advancements from that era can still seen today, particularly in government buildings and churches.
