Hey!

To find this answer all we have to do is use the point-slope formula, then plug in the points given:

(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\(3-8)/(-6-9)\\ (-5)/(-15)\\(1)/(3)

So 1/3 is our answer

Let me know if anything doesn't make sense

slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Substitute in the values

slope = (3-8)/(-6-9)

Solve:

slope = 1/3
