HELP DRAW ME A PICTURE 100 POINTS!!!Stevie Smith is a creative Poet. She wrote the following poem,

"I forgive You"

I forgive you, Maria,
Things can never be the same,
But I forgive you, Maria,
Though I think you were to blame.
I can never forget
But I forgive you, Maria,
Kindly remember that.

Read over the poem and create an illustration of what you think the meaning is; what is the story behind the poem? This is your creative thinking. There is no right answer. I will be looking for Creativity & Effort (5 marks). Ensure that you have your name on the drawing and a short grammatically correct blurb about how or what your illustration depicts, basically a little Explanation for me (5 marks), just in case I do not get it! :)

The drawing should be on 81/2 X 11, White, unlined paper. The drawing can be uploaded and sent to me, mailed or faxed to me. It doesn't matter but I need to be able to see it! Please let me know if you are having trouble finding a way to show this to me.

Answer:

What the poem is saying is they forgive Maria, but they still have a broken heart.

I drew someone who was smiling, but she has a broken heart because of what Maria did.

Answer:

The author says: it's forgiven but not forgotten

Step-by-step explanation:

What is the story behind the poem?

The author says: it's forgiven but not forgotten. Even though things can never be the same as it used to be. He has decided to forgive her. And now, He lives with mixed feelings about her. Maybe, He is talking about adultery or something as bad as that.
