Answer:

The percentage change if I increase $3.00 to $ 4.50 is 50%

Solution:

We have to find the percentage change when I increase $3.00 to $4.50

To calculate the percentage change we use the below given formula

\text { Percentage change }=\frac{\text {Final value-Initial value}}{\text {Initial value}} * 100

Here $ 3.00 is increased to $4.50.

Hence the initial value is $ 3.00 and the final value is $4.50.

Substituting the initial and final values in the formula we get,

\text { Percentage change }=(4.50-3.00)/(3.00) * 100 \%

=(1.50)/(3.00) * 100 \%

=(1)/(2) * 100 \%

= 50%

Therefore the percentage change from $3.00 to $4.50 is 50%
