Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

People aren't exempted from new regulations because they're old and crotchety, even if that's what it sounds like when we say they're "grandfathered in."

The term "grandfathered" has become part of the language. It's an easy way to describe individuals or companies who get to keep operating under an existing set of expectations when new rules are put in place.

The American Colonial times for Black people were very complicated, No Human rights were provided or respected to such ethnic group, and the daily life of this minority was based in hard work, no remuneration, cruel treatments, discrimination, between others.

The White people saw the Black race more similar to animals, than human beings, this despicable belief convinced them to remove and don´t allow any kind of rights in the slavery era.

After the ending of this complicated period (Slavery) due a series of social and political conflicts, the former slaves were liberated, and allowed to live a normal life as free men, however this change wasn´t reflected in the political system of North America society, that kept seeing the minority as a ¨workforce¨ race that hasn´t anything to do with ¨complex processes¨ such the intervention in the democracy or electing new leaders.

The poor white people had a lot of disadvantages as well, similar to the former slaves, a considerable part of them were illiterate and without any kind of formal education however the main difference between them, is that the poor white folk were considered as active members of the society, with established human rights and guaranteed public participation, the opposite happened to the black race.

Both factions were in a similar social rank, however, the black people kept being repressed, segregated and discriminated from political participation, since the race on those times, was the key factor to have Human and basic rights.
