Answer: Independent Variable.

Explanation:

1- This study is evaluating the relationship between the dependent variables: (Agressive behavior in children and levels of exposure to aggresive television) and the independent variable: (Socio-economic Status). The dependent Variable is Dependent on the Independent Variable. The independent variable is modified by the researchers in order to find relationship with the other variables, if any.

2- This study showed a positive correlation between Low socioeconomic homes (IV) and aggressive behavior in children from low socioeconomic homes and levels of exposure to aggressive television. (DV)

3- Therefore Socioeconomic status is the Independent Variable.
