Add 1.5 to both sides:

2\sin(x) = 1.83

Divide both sides by 2:

\sin(x) = 0.915

Consider the arcsin of both sides:

\arcsin(\sin(x)) = \arcsin(0.915)

Arcsin and sin simplify, because they are inverse of each other:

x = \arcsin(0.915)
