Since the triangles are similar then the ratio of corresponding sides are equal, that is


(BC)/(EF) =
(AC)/(DF) ← substitute values


(BC)/(12) =
(8)/(15) ( cross- multiply )

15BC = 96 ( divide both sides by 15 )

BC = 6.4
