How do you find the slope between (-9,10) and (-7,5)

Explanation:

When there are two points given like above use this formula.

y2-y1/x2-x1

(The 1 and 2 is gonna be on the bottom right. It represents the number of y and x as there is two sets of (x,y)

m = ( - 5/2)

Explanation:

(-9,10) , (-7,5)

m = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂-x₁)

= (5 - 10) / [-7 -(-9) ]

= (5 - 10) / [-7 + 9 ]

= -5/2
