Answer: The correct answer is : Yes you can receive the benefits. The hospice service is for patients who are less than six months old. But since it is difficult to predict someone's life expectancy exactly, Medicare hospice care has benefits for two periods of 90 continuous days, followed by an unlimited number of 60-day periods. So the patient who has a terminal illness can continue to receive covered hospice service, on condition that a hospice doctor continues

certifying that the patient has a maximum of six months of life. There are some patients who remain in a terminal state for months or sometimes years in palliative care.
