say i was to go and shoot my desert eagle, I run out of the bullets that have max grain. they travel at 1550 fps, I switch to the rounds that have 2.5% less grain than the max grain how can i use that number to find the fps of that round?

Also, the less grain has 2.5% LESS than 1550 fps max grain.

To find FPS of next round, we have to decrease 1550 by 2.5% of it.

Let's first find 1550's 2.5%.

0.025 * 1550 = 38.75

We subtract this from 1550 fps:

1550 - 38.75 = 1511.25 FPS (for next round)
