I need a topic for an essay that is relevant to the age of reason and/or the colonial era. It's hard for me to think of something, so can you guys give me some ideas? Anything helps.

look up events during the colonial era and choose one of them, there are many that are not 100% boring. Here's a few to get u started.

1681 Pennsylvania.

1698. Royal African Company monopoly ended.

1670 Carolina.

1676 Bacon's Rebellion.

1733 Georgia.

1609-1614 Anglo-Powhatan War.

1607 Jamestown, Va.

1630 Massachusetts Bay Colony.
