ANSWER:

The slope of the given line
y+2=(3)/(4)(x-5) is
m = (3)/(4) and point on the given line is (5, -2).

SOLUTION:

From question, given equation = y+2=
(3)/(4)(x-5) --- eqn (1)

We need to find the slope of the given line and a point through which the given line passes.

Given equation is in the form of Point – Slope form. The point slope form is given as

\mathrm{y}-\mathrm{y}_(1)=\mathrm{m}\left(\mathrm{x}-\mathrm{x}_(1)\right) ---- eqn (2)

Where (x , y) are equation variables,

\left({x}_(1), \mathrm{y}_(1)\right) are coordinates of the given point.

m = slope of given line.

On comparing the both equations (1) and (2) we get the values of slope and point through which the line passes.

y_(1) = -2

m=(3)/(4)

x_(1) =5

Hence slope of the given line is
m = (3)/(4) and point on the given line is (5, -2).
