Howard picks apples at an orchard. He earns $4.35 for each hour he works and $2.20 for each bushel he picks. His goal is to earn at least $100 this week. If he is expecting to work 15 hours, at least how many bushels does he need to pick to achieve his goal?

Please show an explanation.

100 = 4.35(15) + 2.20b

b = 1 bushel

100 = 65.25 + 2.20b

100 - 65.25 = 34.75

34.75 = 2.20b

34.75/2.20 = 15.7954...

He needs to pick at least 16 bushels to reach his goal of $100.
