During the scientific revolution, researchers made discoveries by using observation, logic, and reason in addition to their own newly acquired knowledge.

Scientist during the scientific revolution used observation logic reason and their own new knowledge is discovered new things. During the enlightenment, philosophers used their own reasoning on questioning the government and religion. They both use their own thoughts despite old text to discover their own opinions. The ways scientists thought during the revolution inspired the ideas philosophers would apply in their Enlightenment.
