I got the answer correct but I don’t understand how. Can someone explain how to solve it because I don’t understand the question and how to solve it / fill in the blanks.

| 4x - 2 |, let's recall that once we remove the bars from the absolute value expression, whatever value is inside must be positive, so |-15| = 15, |-1,000,000| = 1,000,000 and so on.

so, regardless of what value "x" itself maybe, say a negative or positive number, once we remove the bars from | 4x - 2 |, it'll be positivized.

now, any positive number, is to the right of the 0 on the number line and by definition greater than any negative number, to the left of the 0 on the number line.

so one can say then

| 4x - 2 | ⩾ -1

| 4x - 2 | ⩾ -2

| 4x - 2 | ⩾ -3

| 4x - 2 | ⩾ -6

| 4x - 2 | ⩾ -1000000

| 4x - 2 | ⩾ 0

and so on.
