=( range -1)/(6)


= (7-1)/(6) = 1


\sigma = 1

for 95% confidencwe interval z value is 1.96

margin of error is given as E


E =  Z * (\sigma)/(√(n))

putting all value to get the margin of error value


E = 1.96 * (1)/(√(1.4))

E = 1.65

Sample size is given as
n  = [(2* \sigma)/(E)]^2


n = [(1.96 * 1)/(1.65)]^2

n = 1.4
