You will have to make a table, y and f(y), y will represent a point on X axis and f(y) will represent a point on the Y axis. In the table, add random points in the Y table (like, for example, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3). substitute by those Y values in the X's of the equation . Those results should be in the corresponding f(y) columns. After that, draw the curve.

So we have to start at 3.5 up the y axis. Then, we have to move 3 slots to the right. Let me know if this helps!
