Answer:

15 candles and 6.72 ounces left over.

Explanation:

Jerod has the amount of beeswax = 132.72 ounces

Jerod is making candles from beeswax.

one candle uses the amount of beeswax = 8.4 ounces

Total candles can be made from total beeswax =
(132.72)/(8.4)

= 15.8

With 132.72 ounces wax 15 candles were made.

In order to calculate the left over wax we calculate the amount is used in 15 candles

= 8.4 × 15 = 126 ounces

Left over wax = 132.72 - 126 = 6.72 ounces

Therefore, 15 candles can be made and 6.72 ounces wax would be left over.
